Chief Operations Officer & Dog Walker
Kelley
Kelley was born in Dallas but was lucky enough to spend her formative years on a farm in Kentucky where she developed a lifelong love of all animals. Her love of dogs and cats formed early and she can’t remember not having a pet. While she loves all dogs, she is especially partial to boxers. She is currently a proud boxer mom to Roxie, Tyson, and Luka. Kelley has been with Privileged Paws in one capacity or another since 2018. When she is not walking dogs, she is helping Jake run things behind the scenes. In her spare time Kelley enjoys hanging with her family and friends, playing games, discovering new restaurants, walking her own dogs, reading, traveling and hiking.

Terry
Terry was born in Dallas and is a proud fifth generation descendent of both parents who were born in or close to Dallas. Before retiring in 2019, he worked in his family’s publishing and advertising business for forty-seven years as president and owner. Terry is an avid cowboy fan for life. He will proudly tell you his dad took him to his first game in 1960 at the Cotton Bowl! Before starting his second career of walking dogs at Privileged Paws he was the proud fur father of four of my schnauzers who have since passed away. His favorite poem is Rainbow Bridge.

Darrah
Darrah lives in downtown Dallas and has worked at SMU for almost twenty-three years. She recently completed her MBA at SMU and is thinking about what her next learning opportunity is going to be. Darrah loves animals and has had dogs of her own most of her life. When her last dog passed away, she decided to take a break from dog ownership but missed spending time with furry friends. Dog sitting was the perfect fit and Darrah loves getting to meet client dogs and giving them lots of love and care and attention while their parents are away! In her free time Darrah enjoys reading, going to the movies (Alamo Drafthouse is her favorite), and taking regular walks at White Rock Lake.
Dog Walker
Denise
A hill country girl at heart, Denise never fathomed living in Dallas, but for more than a decade calls it home. Adapting to city life quickly, she and her beloved dog Aussie found parks, lakes, and quiet neighborhoods ideal for a quick swim or long walk. Denise believes dogs leave footprints in your heart while bringing you boundless joy and love. There is nothing more special than being greeted by a smiling, tail wagging four legged loved one. When not walking dogs, Denise spends her spare time riding the city or hill country roads on a recumbent bike.
